Tegan and Sara Concert Review
Tegan and Sara singing back snarling lyrics of "Look me in the eye and inform me you do not
discover me attractive," from 2004's "Where Does The Good Go," at the band's request:
"Pretend it's horrible. Like, junior high terrible.". It wasn't simply old product that got its
share of the set list either.
With plans to release their seventh studio cd, Sweetheart, next month, Tegan
and Sara displayed some brand-new things also. "I Was A Fool" proved the sisters
still understand how to compose unfortunate love songs and it fit well with the rest
of their brochure. As followers will continue to familiarize themselves with the lyrics
upon the cd's release, it'll become a sing along staple of their set. The band ended the
main portion with dancier product. It's a shift they've been relocating to lately, and one
the general public has very much welcomed. Feet were relocating and arms were in the
air for the jangling keys on "Alligator," as they were for the head-bopping Tiesto
collaboration "Feel It In My Bones." Set closer-- the appropriately labelled-- "Better"
also suit this dance affair, appearing very much like it was lifted from a Dragonette album.
